The famous Rube Goldberg was a simply cartoonist, with his comics exemplifying amazing contraptions utilizing numerous steps to achieve a simple task. The name has evolved from now, going from simple cartoons to full on contraptions. In this project, we made real models of these Rube Goldergs, to accomplish chosen tasks. My given partners for this project were Max and Berr. The requirements for the contraption. were to have our creation go through fifteen steps, changes of force from one to another, run for fifteen seconds, and utilize three simple machines. Ours were a lever, inclined plains, and a screw . Additionally, we had to make eight different scientific calculations of various parts of our rube, such as momentum and work. Lastly, I had to create a SketchUp, digital model, of our Rube Goldberg. This project helped me acquire skills in power tools, teamwork, and mathematical calculations.

Science OverviewScience is very important to me. I really love testing and exploring how the world works and revolves around us. So far, I primarily favor physics and chemistry as my favorite subcategories of science, because I love how physics coexists with math and how I can mix things together in chemistry to make completely different solutions. Although the testing and lab writing can be a bit tedious, all in all, I really enjoy science.
