In this project, I wrote and read several stories about my house and neighborhood. This allowed me to practice the preterit and imperfect forms of writing in Spanish and utilizing them in beautiful Spanish stories. The project taught me useful vocabulary and Spanish techniques when writing in the past tense. Additionally, I was able to use my skills and write a well written story about my neighborhood and home.
I am studying spanish because I like that I can work in Spain. I wan to speak to Spanish people
Yo estoy estudiando español porque me gusta trabajar en Espana. Yo quiero decir a el gentes Espanol. In this project, I drew a picture of Che Guevara and composed three Spanish commands that he would've said. My commands were to kill the capitalists, burn the money, and to buy more guns. This was meant to be ironic, as Che was against capitalism and rich people, yet spent a large amount of money on weapons for killing. This project taught me a lot about Che and the Cuban revolution, while also allowing me to practice writing command phrases.
In this project, we were required to compose a short story in Spanish about an event when we were little. The story had to be in the past tense and be at least a hundred words. I chose to make my story about the time I went rafting with my dad on the Colorado River.
It is very important to know the paste tense to describe stories and past events in Spanish. I don't think it would be very necessary when just going around a Spanish speaking country, but it would be very useful when having a discussion about the past. The story took place in the past, making it completely necessary to use the preterite and imperfect tenses. Almost every sentence in my story utilized at least one of these tenses, mainly the preterite. In this project, I made a slideshow presentation of a story. My story was about a single day in the life of a sentient garbage can, written in Spanish. I was required to have at least 15 sentences, with at least 3 reflexive verbs. In my story, the garbage can woke up filled with garbage, so he had to go to a dumpster and empty the trash in there. Then, he cleaned himself up and feel asleep to the city lights and noises. The point of this project was to practice my ability to form sentences in Spanish and correctly utilize reflexive verbs. This allowed me to to have a better understanding of reflexive verbs and practice using them in a real story. |
